First Impression: This is just like one of my old Nylabones, except this one tastes like bacon! Dad left my old nasty one out and gave me this new one. Of course I left the old nasty one alone, and completly concentrated my chewing powers on the new one. The old one was quickly thrown away where all my old toys go to die...

Conclusion: Nylabone has a strong rep around the dog park, not much more needs to be said. They last a LONG time. I personally like rubber toys more, but its nice to sharpen my teeth on a good bone before I enjoy dinner.

And since I was getting three "giant" dura chew Nylabones for my golden's birthday (and the other two were each twice as much as this one) price matters. But most importantly, this one isn't "regular" flavored, or chicken flavored, it's BACON flavored!

I bought this product hoping it would help keep my cats teeth clean and their breath fresh. I wish I had read the ingredients before I purchased it because it doesn't seem to have any enzymatic ingredients found in true, working dental treats. Also the only breath freshening ingredients- rosemary and chlorophyll, are at the very tail end of the ingredient list as dead last and third to last. I am glad that these ingredients are present, but they are in such small quantities, that they can't be helping much. From personal experience, I have not noticed and breath freshening results. I think the only reason why they are "dental" treats is because of the small amount of rosemary and chlorophyll as well as the fact that they are crunchy and not moist treats, which is very good. Another issue I have with these treats is that my cats only like this product while its very fresh. They seem to go stale really easily, like within a week, and then after that my cats don't care for it. I always... Read more

My cat, Oliver, is discerning. Sure, that sounds like finicky but he puts polish on the concept of finicky. He maintains his dignity at all costs and cat treats have always created a dignified stand at attention followed by a delicate consumption.... or a snobby refusal.

Until now.

The cat has lost his ever-loving mind. The first time I opened a package of Feline Greenies (I can't even remember the actual flavor) he became a lunatic. He put his paws on me and begged ike a common alley cat. He salivated. He pranced. He did everything but cartwheels.

He has this reaction every time I open any of the flavored packs. They certainly have a stronger and more natural smell to them. They seem to contain crunchy goodness. And they turn my dignified british shorthair into a trolling cat addict. Awesome stuff! It now simply has the nickname "Kitty Crack"

I have two 3 year old cats one female (Luna) one male (Titan).... I used to buy crappy supermarket treats just to give them something different... We rarely give them treats... But a year ago my vet told me Luna might have dental issues in the future. Also, Titan gained a lot of weight.... I decided to look into something that would help Luna... I found these and bc of all the positive reviews i decided to give it a try... It's only been a couple of weeks but all i know is that they LOVE it... I'm hoping this is a better option health wise and dental wise.... :)

After having my dog's teeth cleaned, my vet gave me a sample of this toothpaste and suggested that we brush daily. Humm, sure, then I remembered the vet bill and thought I would give it a try. I use a child-sized toothbrush and a small amount of this product. At first it was a struggle, but after a couple of weeks my dog would wait at the bathroom door before bed time for her "chicken paste." The vet said that this product will help prevent tarter by its presence in the mouth even if brushing does not occur; any brushing is a bonus. After almost 2 years of using this my dog's teeth still look good, gums are healthy. I am hoping to avoid professional cleaning and the general anesthesia required for this procedure. I was pleasantly surprised to see this product on Amazon, a real savings over the $25 cost at the vet's office. Highly recommended, worth every penny.

This is good toothpaste and helps with my dogs breath as well as keeping the plaque on her teeth down. She must like the taste as she licks her lips and doesn't mind me brushing gently, so what more can I ask for. Of course, an opposable thumb so she could brush her own teeth!

My cat Cali has severe gingivitis and brushing her teeth is mandatory. She LOVES this toothpaste, makes brushing an enjoyable bonding experience rather than a struggle. I brush her teeth every other day and the vet says the brushing is helping her to avoid surgery.
