I love them because they are big enough that he actually has to chew them to be able to eat them, thus getting good use out of the "dental care" part of the treat. I suppose I don't know how well they actually work, but I do know that other brands of dental treats are much smaller and my cat will just swallow them. I drank the Kool-Ade when it comes to the oral health of pets. I brush my cat's teeth, put this: Biotene Veterinarian Drinking Water Additive (4 fl oz) in her water. I've seen some terrible things happen in pet's mouthes. if I can spare my cat that kind of discomfort, I want to do that.right now I'm fostering a kitten who was feral when she came to me. she won't let me touch her, and there's no way in hell she's going to let me brush her teeth. since she's being socialized, she gets treats anytime someone's around her and she's not panicking. naturally I wanted to sneak some dental treats in there, so I ordered a few different kinds to see if I could find one she liked better. she likes these ok, but mainly I wanted to comment that they small JUST LIKE Chef Boyardee's Beefaroni. |
